If there's a certain product reviewed in Amiga Active's pages, chances are any information we could find on the web relating to that product has been included in our extensive websites section. This section also contains recent postings to many Amiga-related mailing lists. These are Internet discussion groups each one covering a particular topic. We have mailing lists covering particular applications, individual programming languages and the general chatter about the magazine from our own mailing list. We've also included plenty of Amiga specific and general interest sites. You can save yourself a small fortune in phone bills by browsing the local copies of all your favourite websites, straight from the Amiga Active CD! HighlightsHere are a few highlights of this Amiga Active CD. This is only to get you started, the whole CD is packed with useful and entertaining material. These highlights contain a few pointers, but half the fun is in exploring the CD yourself.
Using the CDAs far as possible, software has been set up to run from the CD, but there are some things you need to do first. Most of this is taken care of when you click on the Welcome icon. This sets up any assigns that are needed by programs on the CD.
You can quickly jump to any section of the Amiga Active CD using the buttons on the left of the screen. The large AA button in the top left corner will always return you to the Welcome page.
